Our Lady of the Rocks

This one speaks calmness to me. When working on it, I was seduced by this beautiful haze blue color, and many faces of it, so it’s quite dominant on the painting with a very limited palette.

I usually don’t leave such large areas of painting with almost no color, but it seemed fitting for this one, and helped emphasize the sense of serenity it hopefully conveys.
